Confirmation Class begins on October 9

All students in 9th grade are invited to join our confirmation class. This is a chance to look at what it means to be part of a faith community and make a decision about church memebership.

Our first activity will be putting faith in action to serve the poor in our area. We will prepare and serve lunch for the Community Kitchen on Monday, October 9. Meet at the church kitchen at 9:00 am. We will be done by 1:30 PM. Call Debby Kirk if you want to help out.

Our first class will be on October 15 at 11:30 following worship.

care packages for students

SEND A LITTLE LOVE
Help us send care packages to students in boarding school, college, and those who are serving in the military. This is a great way to let them know that their church family cares.

Parents: please help us by sending the contact info for your child who is away from home. Members of the congregation will be invited to write messages to insert in packages on October 15. Contact Debby Kirk if you would like help. We need items for the boxes, cash to defray mailing costs, and helping hands to pack and ship!
