SYG MISSIONS TRIP TO BOSTON
FRIDAY, JANUARY 19 – SATURDAY, JANUARY 20
A warm coat, a hot meal, and a cozy bed to sleep in-- These are things we all take for granted. But how do the homeless survive on a winter night? CityReach is a chance to learn about homelessness from people who are homeless or who have been homeless. Put your faith in action and participate in ministry to poor. We will offer hospitality, food, and clothing to guests on Saturday morning inside at the Cathedral Church of Saint Paul. We will also participate in a street outreach team in downtown Boston. We will bring donations of good used clothing and food to make bag lunches for the guests. This is an opportunity to grow in spirit and to make a difference!
24 hour Immersion Experience from 5 PM Friday to 5PM Saturday.
$50 covers registration fee, transportation, supplies, and meals.
Friends are welcome, just pick up a registration form at church.
Space is limited to 15 students so sign up today!
Planning will be done at SYG meetings in December 3 and January 7.
