Sunday, September 9 -- Youth Rally at the Hill Church
6:00 to 8:00 PM
Pizza supper and games galore. All high school students and friends are welcome!

Sunday, September 16 -- Car Wash and Bake Sale at the Hill Church
11:30 to 1:00 at the Hill Church.
Help us raise money for the fall Retreat. Make something yummy for our bake sale. We need lots of hands to wash cars and sell cookies at the coffee hour!

Sunday, September 23-- Youth Group Meeting
7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Hill Church. All students who are going on the retreat should come tonight! Turn in you medical forms and pick up your packing list.

Friday, September 28 to Sunday, September 30
FALL RETREAT AT SILVER LAKE
"Who's in Your Network?"
Join us for a fun weekend in Sharon, CT. Hiking, ropes course, and possibly a swim. Plus time to hang with friends and relax. We leave after school on Friday and return by 4 on Sunday. Cost is $120 per person and scholarships are available. Watch for registration info in the mail.

COMPASSION CAMP '07

Thank you for your interest! We are now full for the 2007 program. All registered campers should bring lunch and remaining payment and forms on the first day of camp on Monday, July 23. We meet at the First Congregational Church of Woodstock at 543 Route 169. Contact Camp Director, Debby Kirk at ddkirk@snet.net if you have any questions.

Note: We will be collecting clean, gently used clothing and canned goods (especially canned fruit) to take to the Pantry and Soup Kitchen. Items can be brought in any day during the week.

Compassion Camp Schedule
Monday, July 23 -- Who is my neighbor? Bring your own lunch. Mini-golf at Buster's in the afternoon.

Tuesday, July 24 -- Center of Hope in Southbridge. Lunch will be provided. Bring a bathing suit and towel for a pool party in the afternoon. http://www.thecenterofhope.org

Wednesday, July 25 -- Overlook Farm in Rutland, MA. Tour the Global Village and learn about Heifer Project International. Note to Parents: Please pick up your children at 4 PM today. http://www.heifer.org/

Thursday, July 26 -- Food prep and trip to the Daily Bread Food Pantry in Putnam. Bring your own lunch today. Also, bring your donations of canned goods and used clothing.

Friday, July 27 -- prepare and serve a meal at the Covenant Soup Kitchen in Willimantic. Lunch is provided. We will stop at the UConn Dairy Bar for an ice cream break. http://www.covenantsoupkitchen.org/
