THE PROVIDENCE EXPERIENCE

March 17-19, 2006
Save the date… The SYG WINTER MISSIONS TRIP is coming.

Why Providence? The recent devastation by Katrina made us look closely at the inequities in all of our cities. The child poverty rate in the capital of Rhode Island is the fourth highest in the nation. 40.5% of all children in Providence live below the federal poverty line. You can put your faith into action by serving the “least of these” right here in New England. You will do hands-on ministry helping people who have few of the resources we take for granted. Speak to Debby Kirk at 928-3215 for more information. Interested adults are welcome to join us. This is the kind of experience that will open your eyes and change your life.

Providence Experience Project Site Possibilities
