7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Hill Church. We’ve got all the fixin’s for make-your-own sundaes. Come and celebrate the spring and summer birthdays! Call a friend and join us tonight.
BIKE AND BUILD
SUNDAY, JUNE 10
Imagine riding your bike for 3000 miles! We want you to meet the 30 college kids who are starting the trek from Providence to Seattle. They will stop in Woodstock on their first night and your can hear about their project to build affordable housing for the poor. Program is 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Hill Church. We are hosting this group so please call Deb if you can help with dinner or provide baked goods for the reception.

SUNDAY, JUNE 17
10:00 am at East Woodstock. We’ll gather for informal discussion and a chance to respond to events in the news. Come to worship at 10:00 am and meet in the kitchen. 8th graders are welcome!
UCC SYNOD IN HARTFORD
SUNDAY, JUNE 24
LET IT SHINE
Get on the bus! Join the group from our area who will be attending worship at the 50th birthday party of the United Church of Christ. The synod is a HUGE meeting that happens every other year and the CT Conference is the host this time. Join with over 6000 faithful folks from all over the country for the 3:00 PM celebration in the Hartford Civic Center. This is going to be an amazing experience!
We are chartering a bus so sign up in advance if you want to reserve a seat. Cost is ~$12 per person but the first ten to sign up get a 50% SYG discount. Estimated departure time is 1:30 PM, but call the church office at 928-7405 to confirm.
